Explore your options when the time comes (i.e. Lamaze, spinals, epidurals, etc) Do not worry about them now. Enjoy your pregnancy, your body and your baby to be.
Oh yeah, better you than me hon. I am done! :) And to you Jackie-J super congrats girl, I remember how we were when The GG first got preggers we were tellin EVERYbody. The coolest was the way we told my Mom. She's still mad at me for this. We took her to dinner and she was telling me about some things going on with her, we played it real cool. Then she says, so what's new with you guys? And I said, "Me? Oh same old same old, work, GG?" "Yeah work is okay, but at least I'll be able to take a few weeks off from it next spring." "oh really why is that" Nana says "I think it has something to do with the fact that you'll be a Grandmother by then."
Anyways, thanks for not spoiling us hearing it in Jackie-J's own words Wenderific, you are a true good Friend. ------------------------------- Stacey - 2004-10-14 10:16:59 Such wonderful news! Congratulations to you both! ------------------------------- Jackie - 2004-10-14 16:12:06 Thanks for all the support! I hope ya'll won't start gagging when I start posting sonograms and crap like that. P.s. The name allie will be put on the roster--any more ideas?? ------------------------------- warcrygirl - 2004-10-16 11:22:41 If I had had a girl I wanted to name her Samantha Wynne. It's different without being nauseatingly trendy. If it's a boy just don't give him the middle name of Wayne; all the famous mass murderers have Wayne as a middle name. Or so I'm told... ------------------------------- sassykk - 2004-10-16 12:32:45 HooooooRaaaaaaYYYYYYYY for Jackie! I think it's the best news I've heard all week...I love that you took it the first time in the store. Too funny. ------------------------------- maf - 2004-10-18 14:03:00 i'ma need the pregnant woman to update ------------------------------- Jackie - 2004-10-18 16:08:22 ok maf--if you say it--it will be done tonight. ------------------------------- Jackie - 2004-10-19 08:52:39 I know I am a dumb head for not updating--I meant tonight- not last night. hee hee do you buy it? ------------------------------- maf - 2004-10-19 09:11:18 i totally buy it - cause i have nothing to say today my own self ------------------------------- Walker - 2004-10-19 11:08:00 I know I'm coming in late in the game, but CONGRATS!!!! How incredibly exciting!!!! ------------------------------- Jackie - 2004-10-19 15:06:56 thanks Walker you're nice! ------------------------------- ticia - 2004-10-23 23:06:30 Wow. yay!! that is wonderful news, i know i am really late on the congrats but i am doing my catching up stuff tonite. and yes, there are so many stories but usually women are all 'oh my Gawd!! i was in labor for like 20 years and i did it all w/out drugs.' screw that. i had an epidural and was in labor for only 3 hours and it was soooo easy, i have such wonderful memories of the day and i did not suffer huge agony. perhaps that is because i a am a baby when it comes to pain. my mom always tells people that she had to sit on me to get slivers out. (lies all of it) and plus, i have 4 tattoos (discreet and tribal. none on boobs or butt) and that was fine, well, they hurt like a bitch but that was something i wanted...so anyway, makenzie skye was a breeze to birth and the joke was the best: we told everyone (my husband's idea. um ex husband) that if it was a boy it would be Scooter De Madman. my mom almost fainted when the doctor said it was a girl. we have her birth on tape and i watch it like once a year or lend it to friends that are thinking of having a baby (not sure if this is good of me or bad. there is blood and yelling but it really is fast and the joy at the end...) so anyway you can hear the relief in her voice that mak was a girl and thus not named 'the name'. the name for a boy was really going to be caleb or garrick, we had not decided. ok, you may or may not like these buy if i were to have another child, Rune for a boy. and either Halcyon (my grandmother's middle name) or Thaile. weird i know but i love them. yay once again for you. and Brian - you stud you. ------------------------------- add your comment: |
